Lemont Little League Volunteer Jobs
Manager
Responsible for team. Organizes practices, sets lineups, teaches skills. Treats players fairly, practices good sportsmanship, corrects behavior of coaches and players as necessary.
Coach
Helps and supports manager and team activities, performs manager duties in manager's absence.
Team Parent
Assists team with uniforms, organizes treats at games, organizes team party, in general assists coaching staff with non-baseball items.
Special Events
Help put with special events during the season, such as Little League Live, Community Day, and the Joliet Jackhammers Day.
Telephone Assistant
Make phone calls on behalf of the league for various purposes such as reminders, information passing, etc.
Picture Day Assistant
Help coordinate activities during picture day. Sign-in, organize teams, move teams through.
Set-up and take down equipment, coordinate player stations, run drills, participate at sign-in table.
Tryout Assistant
Help coordinate activities during player clinics. Sign-in, rotate players through stations, etc.
Player Clinic Support
Help coordinate activities during picture day. Sign-in, organize teams, move teams through.
Picture Day Assistant
Recruit area businesses to sponsor Lemont Little League. Successfully receive (2) sponsorships that are not already pledged to the league.
Sponsor Recruiter
Pass out equipment, disassemble bags at end of year, inspect for damage, pack new bags for the following year.
Equipment Distribution/Return
Participate in distribution of uniforms.
Uniform Distribution
Assist with the registration process on the registration day. Hand out forms, help with uniform sizing, sign up volunteers, etc.
Registration
Help out with joint projects between Lemont Little League and the Park District.
Park District Projects
Assist during tournaments hosted by Lemont. Field preparation, scorekeeper, PA announcer, put away equipment.
